Effective school boards are intentional about making time to reflect on their work and seeking ways to improve. One great way to do that is by conducting an annual self-assessment. A Governance Team Self-Assessment is also a requirement for each of GSBA's board recognition levels (Quality Board, Distinguished Board, and Exemplary Board).
